Kimberley Griffiths Little’s best ideas come when taking long hot baths, but instead of a sunken black marble tub with gold faucets and a dragon-shaped spigot, she has New Mexico hand-painted tiles in her adobe home along the Rio Grande. She makes a lot of chocolate chip cookies when writing/revising.

  1. This story sounds awesome…and intriguing. I grew up with fire-flys (or lighting bugs as we called them) – and would catch them in a jar…then take the lid off before we went to bed. They were full of magic!

  2. I think the FB page link of Ms. Kimberley may be broken. So, I just added her as my FB friend. I got the chance to talk to her… she’s really nice. Can’t wait read her upcoming books especially “The Time of the Fireflies”

  3. Something seems to have gone awry on the Rafflecopter. Some of the links aren’t where they are supposed to be. Just thought you should know.

  4. I love well-written time-travel stories. I really, really, really want to read The Time of the Fireflies. One I would suggest you add to your time-travel list is Saving Lucas Biggs. I just loved it. Thanks for the chance to win this.

  5. I’m looking forward to this one lots! And just in case anyone wants more MG/YA time travel, I review one every Tuesday, and you can find the list of all 200 plus books I’ve reviewed so far here: http://charlotteslibrary.blogspot.com/p/time-travel-books.html

  6. I love time travel stories, especially those for kids. They open up the imagination to all possibilities.
