Shelby Bach is the author of the series The Ever Afters, a fast-paced combination of middle school realism and fairy tale fantasy. (Shelby likes to think of them as Frozen with a twist of Maleficent!)
Shelby’s doing a giveaway of all three books, signed, as well as some “swag”, to one lucky winner. To whet your appetite a little more, check out this recipe kindly provided by two of the characters, Gretel and Ellie:
Shelby’s bio: Shelby was born in Houston TX and raised in Charlotte, NC, but while writing The EverAfters she moved almost as many times as her main character. She came up with the idea for the series right after she left New York City, and she finished the first book in Montana and the second in North Carolina. Driving up the west coast to research the third book, she fell in love with Portland OR and settled there. She would love to set up a Door Trek system in her apartment to visit her friends and family around the country, but she makes due with much slower and less fictional transportation.

Wha
Ooooh! I’ve already read “Of Giants and Ice”. I didn’t know there were more out in the series already.
Mm, Fey fudge. I’ve always wanted to try it! So long as Solange hasn’t messed with it first…
i think my middle school daughter would love to read these books! love the ever afters!
At least from the covers, a girl is front and center–I like that!
Sounds lIke a series a few kids I know would enjoy and share with others, the best way I know to get books into the hands of reluctant readers
middle school realism plus some fun fantasy on top of it – that sounds like a really fun blend for books.
I love the covers. They alone have sold me on the series. I’ve pinned them on Pinterest.
